Surakarta, PT SOLO ABADI INDONESIA – Solo Abadi owner, Dian Untoro participated in an event held by Solo Kita on July 19th 2019 themed “Business Talk with Gibran Rakabuming”. With the spirit of promoting local Solo business, Dian as a representative of local product entrepreneurs who also represented the younger generation of businessmen discussed with Gibran Rakabuming who at that time had not yet run for Mayor of Surakarta.
Not only Dian Untoro, other speakers also participated in the business talk with Gibran Rakabuming, Joko Santosa as the General Chair of Solo Kita and the owner of CV Mitra Sentosa Mandiri (MSM). Gibran Rakabuming himself departs from a well-known business background in Solo. A number of businesses such as catering for Chilli Pari, Markobar, Jas Hujan, Hompimpah and Madhang developed under the management of the first son of the Indonesian president. So that there is no doubt about his business activities, in the “Business Talk with Gibran Rakabuming” agenda, Solo Abadi had the opportunity to take part there.
The event, which was attended by approximately 150 people was held for 1.5 hours with the subject expectations to welcome local Indonesian businesses in general and Surakarta in particular. In one session, Dian as the owner of PT SOLO ABADI INDONESIA raised the topic of local domestic businesses needing support and addressed the problem specifically to the person who is now the Mayor of Surakarta.
Then the problem was given a response by Gibran that local businesses that have a good influence on Surakarta and Indonesia deserve good support.
“… as long as the program could give a big impact for Surakarta and for Indonesia in general, then it is entitled to get facilities and support…” he said
