Surakarta, PT. SOLO ABADI INDONESIA – State Vocational High School 2 Jember (SMKN 2 Jember) visited Solo Abadi workshop on Wednesday (02/02/2022). The visit aims to explore innovations, especially in the fields of industry and education in the form of light discussions. The discussion lasted for more than two hours and was attended by staff of SMKN 2 Jember and also enlivened by several guests from the ATMI Surakarta polytechnic.
With the spirit to always contribute to the world of education, Mr. Dian Untoro as the owner of PT. SOLO ABADI INDONESIA expressed his enthusiasm. He also conveyed his principle to always support teacher and vocational programs, one of which was contributing to the success of the mass marriage mission (link and match) between industry and vocational.
“Education is the mother of Solo Abadi, we want to prove our dedication to education (through an agenda like this),” he said with his characteristic smile.
The discussion which was attended by 11 people going on interactively, every discussion participants actively responded and expressed their wishes for the advancement of vocational education through internship and prakerin programs. Suyadi, as Deputy Head of Public Relations and Industry at SMKN 2 Jember conveyed his purpose in choosing Solo Abadi as an industrial partner based in Central Java.
“We hope to remove homesickness from students so that they can get out of Jember, out of their comfort zone….by adding industrial cooperation areas in Central Java, one of which is Solo Abadi,” said the teacher at SMKN 2 Jember.
C Lintang Larasati as the PIC for the collaboration and internship division also explained about the internship program for teachers and students available at Solo Abadi, namely about CNC machines and design engineering. Everything can be accessed through the Solo Abadi website.
“We are also still looking for the right formula (in running) this teacher internship… we are very happy if later you are interested in collaborating, especially for the internship (program),” said the figure who is familiarly called Lintang.
Furthermore, Mr. Dian Untoro also expressed his willingness to facilitate and accommodate apprentices both teachers and students during the internship. He also revealed that the preparation of reports after carrying out the internship will also be supported by technology, so there is no need to prepare reports manually.
“We accommodate everything as much as possible with technology so that activities can be reported in full, actual and transparent,” he explained.
Solo Abadi is very grateful to be able to contribute to developing vocational education in Indonesia. We hope we can help in accordance with our role as a company engaged in the manufacturing industry.
