During the training process we had the opportunity to talk with dr. Kuswati, M.Sc as a lecturer at the Islamic University of Indonesia with expertise in Medical Anatomy, said that the 8 Metrisis Complete Set Series Portable Anthropometric will be used for group practicum, so that each group is facilitated with a portable anthropometric set. He also mentioned, before using the Metrisis Complete Set Series Portable Anthropometric measurement tool, so far the Faculty of Medicine has been measuring the dimensions of the human body with many measuring tools such as meters with various sizes and scales. We hope that portable anthropometry can help students to measure more practically without having to use various other measuring instruments.

“So far, we’ve only used what we had, only a meter, measuring height and then weighing it like that,” she said

Furthermore, she mentioned that this measuring instrument will also be used in the future as a facility for students involving measuring body dimensions in their research.

“This is a long term, it will be used for learning and then (in the future) it will be used for research. If there are students who also (need for) a thesis or if their research takes anthropometry, they can borrow this tool to use it later.” explained the lecturer in Medicine at the Islamic University of Indonesia.

After follows the training, dr. Kuswati M.Sc gave a response that the use of the Metrisis Complete Set Series Portable Anthropometric measuring instrument according to her is not complicated, but because this measuring instrument is still new it is not too familiar, so it requires adaptation to using it repeatedly. The doctor and lecturer explained that the reason the UII medical faculty practicum team chose the anthropometric measuring instrument product from Solo Abadi was initially because of a recommendation from one of the lecturers, and also because the price was more affordable than other brands of anthropometric measuring instruments.

Finally, we asked about the services of the Solo Abadi Team during the ordering process to product delivery to him. He responded by saying that the services of the Solo Abadi team were good from delivery to training and said that if the Faculty of Medicine needed more measuring instruments in the future, they would order again.

“Yes, actually the service is good (from) the delivery up to the training…if we need it, we need more, God willing (Insya Allah) we will order again,” dr. Kuswati M.Sc explained

8 Metrisis Complete Set Series Portable Anthropometric measuring instruments are placed in two laboratories in the Faculty of Medicine. 1 portable anthropometry kit is stored in the research laboratory, while the other 7 are stored in the biomedical laboratory.
