Surakarta, PT Solo Abadi Indonesia – Solo Abadi helps the Government of Indonesia to realize One Village, One Anthropometry or ‘Satu Desa Satu Antropometri’ through the Anthropometry Kit Grant at Posyandu Intan Baiduri, RW 22 Nusukan Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City on Friday (27/05/2022).
The Anthropometry Kit or known as the Stunting Detection Measurement Tool Kit was handed over directly to 15 Posyandu Cadres of Intan Baiduri. The Anthropometry Kit handover event also coincided with the re-activated activities, after stopping due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Like the right momentum, the Solo Abadi Team, represented by Muhammad Taufan, C. Lintang Larasati and Indah Arum Sari, also gave directions regarding how to measure children’s bodies correctly in the inaugural routine measurement event of the Intan Baiduri Posyandu.
“In Nusukan Village, there are 24 administrative units, which there must be a Posyandu in every of it, but there are 2 administrative units with 2 Posyandu because… the population is large. So out of all of that, I think this Posyandu Intan Baiduri has the most complete equipment… after get help from PT Solo Abadi Indonesia” said the Head of Posyandu Cadre, Mrs. Yuli
The existence of the Anthropometry Kit at the smallest government level should be the focus of the Government of Indonesia. Hence, the measurement of the baby’s body with tools that seem improvised can still be found at the Intan Baiduri Posyandu. Measurements based on tools that are not standardized by the Ministry of Health can have a fatal impact on the results of children’s nutritional status.
