Surakarta, PT Solo Abadi Indonesia – Industrial Visit is one way to introduce and bring the education closer to industry. Introduction to the industry is not only so that students can learn practically about the world of work that is relevant to their study program, but also provides inspiration to build their own industry or the eager of entrepreneurship. This is what the Industrial Engineering Student Association (HMTI) of the Veteran University (UNIVET) Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo did on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at PT Solo Abadi Indonesia.
The visit was warmly welcomed by the Director of PT Solo Abadi Indonesia, Mr. Dian Untoro and the team. The introduction continued with “Strolling Around Solo Abadi” or around PT Solo Abadi Indonesia. With an Industrial Engineering background, 36 students who were previously familiar with the Anthropometric Chair product used in Ergonomics and Work Systems courses looked enthusiastic. All students were shown the Anthropometry production process which is the main product of Solo Abadi, starting from the product designing process, production process, to product finishing and assembly. Another thing that has attracted HMTI’s attention is the process of marketing Anthropometry products by PT Solo Abadi Indonesia which focuses on digital marketing.
The event was then continued with the presentation of the Company Profile by C. Lintang Larasati, the Marketing team of PT Solo Abadi Indonesia. During the presentation, she explained PT Solo Abadi Indonesia’s commitment to producing anthropometry with quality that has been recognized by the international market. In addition, it also mentioned various collaborations that were actively carried out by PT Solo Abadi Indonesia with various sectors ranging from education to government in efforts to prevent stunting in Indonesia. This session was then followed by a sharing session between HMTI UNIVET and PT Solo Abadi Indonesia, represented by Mr. Dian Untoro and C. Lintang Larasati. The Industrial Visit to PT Solo Abadi Indonesia was quite memorable for HMTI UNIVET. This was conveyed by Nindi Prayoga, one of the participants of the Industrial Visit.
