Surakarta, PT Solo Abadi Indonesia — Tuesday (22/3/2022) PT Solo Abadi Indonesia had the opportunity to consult and talk directly with one of the Pilot Project facilitators, dr. Neti Nuraini, Sp.A(K), M.Kes. The team from Solo Abadi, namely Sigit Dwi Prasetyo and Hanif Bramasta Ibrahim from Surakarta city, immediately drove to his residence in Sleman, Yogyakarta.
This meeting discussed the portable stadiometer produced by PT Solo Abadi Indonesia which previously occurred the difference in measurement when dr. Neti Nurani tried to measure at Dr. Sardjito Hospital, Sleman, Yogyakarta. After receiving the news, the team from Solo Abadi immediately visited dr. Neti Nurani to crosscheck or re-examine the cause of the measurement difference on the portable stadiometer device.
“Yesterday I tried to measure myself with a SECA measuring instrument, because until now what we use as a measurement standard is SECA. The result is a difference of up to 2 cm. I’m confused as to why the difference is so far from SECA. What’s wrong with what installation is, I think so.” Said dr. Neti Nurani when explaining the problem of measurement difference from portable stadiometer.
To deal with this, Sigit Dwi Prasetyo directly tested the portable stadiometer measurement with a ruler first before taking measurements in humans. This measurement test is carried out with three tools as a comparison. After being compared, the measurement results still get the same number so that there is no difference in numbers less or more.
After finding the same measurement results, dr. Neti Nurani claimed that previously portable stadiometer measurements were not tried with inanimate objects first so the measurement results were different. “Yesterday at RSUP dr. Sardjito does not measure with a ruler first. I thought that since it has been calibrated there is no problem… I believe it.” He said.
This portable stadiometer will later be used in the Pilot Project or the Ministry of Health’s pilot project in handling stunting in Indonesia. The program chaired by Prof. Dr. dr. Damayanti Rusli Sjarif, Sp.A(K) has 14 facilitators who hold 14 districts. One of the facilitators is dr. Neti Nuraini, is a consultant pediatrician who holds Sragen Regency.
dr. Neti Nurani also gave appreciation to portable stadiometer products. “In terms of easy installation, the durability of the product is also quite good, strong, and sturdy. However, it is a bit heavy yes the product.” It is said.
The Project pilot has started on March 1, 2022, and will last for the next 6 months. If this program is successful, it will be used as a national program every year. Solo Abadi is the only anthropometric manufacturer selected in the Pilot Project program.
Until now, there are still many anthropometric kit needs in posyandu that have not been met. This can be an opportunity for Solo Abadi to participate in this program and succeed in the stunting alleviation program in Indonesia.
