Surakarta, PT SOLO ABADI INDONESIA – Solo Abadi visited SMK WARGA Surakarta on Wednesday (15/12/2021) in order to discuss the importance of communication for the sake of succesful coordination through the “Speak Training” program. Taking place in the school hall of SMK WARGA Surakarta, the event entitled “Workshop on Character Strengthening Methods for Students and Teachers” ran smoothly, marked by the interaction and enthusiasm of the workshop participants, speak training with SMK WARGA Surakarta.
The event started at 9 West Indonesian Time (zone) with greeting from Mr. Hari Eko Purnomo Bachelor of Engineering as a representative of SMK WARGA Surakarta. He stated that the purpose of this event was to realize the vision and mission of the SMK WARGA, namely Character, Professional, Reliable and Environmentally Friendly by focusing on Character points, he hopes that today’s agenda can be the first step to strengthen the individual character of students and teachers.
“We held this Workshop on Character Strengthening Methods for Students and Teachers by referring to the vision and mission of SMK WARGA in Surakarta, namely Character, Professional, Reliable and Environmental Friendly. Especially at the point of character, strengthening individual character must be prioritized,” he said.
The agenda for this workshop was attended by approximately 90 students from all majors at SMK WARGA Surakarta covering Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Electronics Engineering, and Automotive Engineering. The students who attended were class representatives from grades 10, 11 to 12.
The material was presented by the Solo Abadi Group Marketing team, namely Cahyo Lintang Larasati as Solo Abadi Marketing, and Ana Trisni Agustiningsih as Kreasi Muda Indonesia Marketing. By bringing the topic of the importance of speaking skills for each individual in general and vocational students in particular, the Solo Abadi team explained the concept of Speak Training to improve students’ speaking skills. Speak Training itself is a forum for employees of PT. Solo Abadi Indonesia to share stories, ideas, and other interesting topics.
With the spirit to provide long-term value, speak training will be adapted at SMK WARGA Surakarta. The Solo Abadi team will accompany SMK students in Speak Training which will be held regularly once a month in the first week. Dian Untoro as the owner of Solo Abadi also gave a statement regarding the importance of the existence of Speak Training.
“The main purpose of the Speak Training agenda at Solo Abadi is for the sake of smooth communication between each lines (or division), so that they can understand each other’s intentions,” he explained
Mr. Parjito as a teacher at SMK WARGA Surakarta also expressed his enthusiasm and felt that this kind of training was necessary, so that we as individuals could express our ideas and knowledge clearly.
“Not only for students, I personally also feel the need to learn public speaking, because communication is important. So that I can convey my ideas and what I can convey to many people.” said the high school teacher
The event ended at around 11 am West Indonesian Time (zone) closed with a statement from Mr. Hari Eko Purnomo Bachelor of Engineering and hope that the future agenda can run smoothly. We also hope that this event can be the first step to improve speaking skills and strengthen the character of the nation’s next generation.
