Surakarta, PT. Solo Abadi Indonesia – On Friday, 04 February 2022, PT. Solo Abadi Indonesia had the opportunity to fulfill an invitation from the Directorate of Medical Device Assessment and PKRT, Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in the Socialization of the Need for Medical Devices in Primary Services. The event, which was held via video conference, was held at 15.00 – 17.00 WIB and was attended by 360 industries that manufacture medical devices and pharmaceuticals in Indonesia.
This event was accompanied by Dr. dr. Dhian Probhoyekti Dipo, MA, Director of Community Nutrition, Directorate General of Public Health, Ministry of Health and drg. Murti Utami, MPI Inspector General (Irjen) of the Ministry of Health as the Government in conveying the Socialization of Needs in Supporting Primary Health Programs. Both of them conveyed that currently the Government of Indonesia is focusing on implementing the Health System Transformation 2021 – 2024, especially on the National Priority Program, namely stunting.
Stunting issue has become a common thread in discussions between government, industry and experts. drg. Murti Utami, said that currently the Government is focusing on distributing measuring equipment needs to all posyandu in Indonesia.
“One of the most important things to prevent stunting is measuring instruments, the level of precision is very important. Our stunting rate (Indonesia) is now 24%. We are currently intense in providing anthropometric measuring instruments to all Indonesian posyandu. We want the standard to be good, because a good measuring tool will affect ..” said drg. Murti Utami.
Anthropometric measuring instruments are the focus of the fulfillment of the Government of Indonesia’s infrastructure. According to Prof. Dr. dr. Damayanti Rusli Sjarif SpA(K), Chair of the Anthropometry Working Group of the Ministry of Health, there are many infrastructures in the district that need to be repaired. He also provides counseling to the medical device manufacturing industry regarding anthropometric kits that comply with international standards, such as the Infantometer, Infant and Toddler Scale with an accuracy of 5-10 grams and the Stadiometer.
In the midst of the discussion, PT. Solo Abadi Indonesia, represented by Hanif Bramesta Ibrahim, had the opportunity to introduce the Infantometer Board which was in accordance with international standards recommended by Prof. Damayanti. He also provides constructive feedback on Stadiometer products.
“Yes.. you were invited because of my recommendation, I saw that your product was appropriate.. but I asked, for the stadiometer there should be a heel limiter ..” he said by showing the part in question.
This positive feedback was then responded well by Hanif Bramesta Ibrahim. According to him, currently PT. Solo Abadi Indonesia is in the process of developing a stadiometer ‘base’ and as of today, Saturday, February 5, 2022, it has been completed.

We will also continue to strive to improve the quality of anthropometric products in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. HK. 01. 07/MENKES/51/2022 concerning Standards for Anthropometric Tools and Early Detection Tools for Child Development, as well as international standards set by the World Health Organization (WHO).
