PT Solo Abadi Indonesia, Surakarta — PT Solo Abadi Indonesia was again selected as a participant in the seminar on Technical Guidance on Medical Device Licensing and Medical Device Distribution Permits organized by the Ministry of Health, Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices. By raising the Improvement of Human Resources Technical Capabilities in the Context of Fulfillment, Security, Quality, and Benefits of Medical Devices in the Context of Distribution Permits, this activity was carried out for three days which took place on Thursday-Saturday (18-20) August 2022 The Alana Hotel & Convention Center Solo.
This event was opened by the Director of Production and Distribution of Medical Devices, Ir. Sodikin Sadek, M.Kes. This event was also attended and filled by competent speakers in the field of Medical Devices and was equipped with a discussion panel with participants.
The activity was attended by approximately 48 participants from the producers and distribution of central Java regional medical devices, including PT Solo Abadi Indonesia represented by C. Lintang Larasati and Aisyah Umi Khalsum. The participants were also very enthusiastic about getting direction and technical guidance about the administration of medical device registration through the RBA OSS system.
On the first day, Thursday (18/8/2022) the event started at 19-00 WIB with the material presented by Ir. Sodikin Sadek, M.Kes. about the regulatory policy for licensing medical devices distribution facilities. He said that the Ministry of Health is committed to transforming the health system by prioritizing independence in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
“Following the direction from the President, that domestic products including medical devices that already have TKDN above 40% must be purchased,” he said.
The Ministry of Health has currently developed administrative facilities and services in the registration and licensing of medical devices integrated with the OSS RBA-Seralkes Single Sign On (SSO) system. This means that the acceleration in applying for medical device licensing will make it easier for manufacturers and distributors of medical devices.
“With the license that has been integrated with the RBA OSS through seralkes and regalkes, there is no need to register a medical device license for a long time, because it will be processed quickly and the producers can immediately get a certificate, as long as the files and documents registered are complete,” added Ir. Sodikin Sadek, M.Kes.
Then, the event continued tomorrow, Friday (19/8/2022) at 08.00 WIB which was filled with material on technical guidance and business licensing regulations through OSS and medical device distribution regulations by the Team of the Directorate of Medical Device Production and PKRT. Furthermore, the speaker was the Chairman of the Indonesian Medical Device Manufacturers (ASPAKI) Imam Subagyo and a team from the Indonesian Medical Devices and Laboratory Company Organization Association (GAKESLAB) as the association’s support in guaranteeing the quality of medical devices.
The last session was continued with technical guidance on medical device distribution permits by the Team of the Directorate of Medical Device Production and PKRT, namely Apt. Nasmi, S.KM. The event then closed on Saturday (20/8/2022).
